Ryker smirked at the sword with a slight admiration, "That's an excelent piece of work you have there. Looks like you'd have a hell of a time with it in battle." When he referred to having a hell of a time it was more in reference to fun as they continued their little stroll down the dirt path through the forest.
Within minutes they had entered the village and were making there way through. Ryker waved at the villagers that were making their way to the feast, most smiled and waved at him, though they gave respectful bows to the man and dragon following. Tanis was the first to arrive at the gate of the castle, sending a mental message to him. He immediately bowed and did as he was told.
By the time that Ryker arrived with Ryzen and Carbuncle entail, the gate was open with several of the castles beautiful maidens waiting to greet the captain. "Welcome home Cap'n, we've missed you."
Tanis merely rolled her eyes at this, though became happy as a small boy ran out to greet her. He was the one in charge of taking care of her. Ryker grinned as they surrounded him, a little cautious of the strangers though one could be seen with a look of lust on her face for him. Ryker addressed them all and the soldiers around him, "These are our honored Wanderers that are to attend the feast, make them feel at home." Then on a side note he mentioned to the woman, "I'm afraid it's to late, he's taken." She sighed at this then turned back to Ryker, another nibbled his neck. He waved them away with a smile on his face, "Later, for now prepare clothes for both me and Ryzen here. Also inform the cooks of our Wanderers, make sure he has something ready for Carbuncle." He raised his hand in reference to them as he mentioned their names.
The maidens moved off in different directions in preparation for the feast. Ryker turned back to Ryzen and Carbuncle. "Carbuncle, I'm afraid that I must steal Ryzen away from you for a moment. We will see you at the feast within a few minutes if your fine with this. Tanis will take you to the Great Hall in the mean time, is this fine with the both of you?"

Airow came into the castle with his lindorm, Saridea, close behind. Saridea looke much like Tanis, they were both small with two wings and two legs. Airow saw the maidens moving away from Ryker, Tanis, and a human and dragon he did not now. Airow walked towards the four in time to hear Ryker speak to Carbuncle. "Hello Cap'n, good to see you're back." Airow said to him. Saridea nodded her head in agreement, and said hello to Tanis as well. "I don't believe I recall these two," Airow said gesturing towards Ryzen and Carbucle, "are they going to stay, or are they just passing through?" The last part of Airows question was aimed at Ryzen just as much as it was at Ryker. Then Airow realized that the new comers didn't know him either, "I would like to introduce myself, I am Airow, and this is my lindorm Saridea.

Ryzen bows respectfully to each new person he meets, thoug Carbuncle only nods politely. Carbuncle, be respectful, he admonishes. She did the draconic equivelent of a curtsy a few times. Better? Cuter, anyway He notices one of the women watching him hungrily and blushes. Carbuncle begins to respond to Ryker's words when a small lindorm darts in behind a man who introduced himself as Airow. It would appear that introductions were in order. He stepped forward and placed a fist in his other hand and bowed. "My name is Ryzen," he says, "And this..." He had been about to introduce Carbuncle, but she barged ahead, fluttering her wings slightly and batting her eyes in an attempt to make Ryzen jealous. It worked; if he had hackles they would have been brushing the sky. "I," she declared, "Am Carbuncle. It is a pleasure to make your aquaintance. Ryzen, you may go with Ryker if you wish." She put her right forclaw out for Airow to take and kiss, though it was questionable if people here were familiar with the rather outdated custom. Ryzen fumed for a moment then slowly calmed down as he realized that it was only to make hims jealous. His shoulders, which were squared and tense, now relaxed and he turned to leave. "Fine. Meet me at the feast. Sniff me out," he said with as much false anger as he could muster. 'Fine', he thought, 'Let her think I'm angry, it'll only mean comforting and cuddling later.' And he walked away, leaving Carbuncle with her forclaw up, waiting for Airow to take it and kiss it. She had her claws sheathed, for his safety should her decide to do so. Once Ryzen was out of site and hearing, she really didn't care if he did or not, and the anger in his voice brought much satisfaction, though she knew she would likely succumb to those blue eyes of his later...

"It is indeed a pleasure to meet the both of you." Airow said, reluctantly taking the dragons hand and kissing it lightly. Saridea nodded her head to the present people and creatures before flying up and landing on a ledge in the wall near the ceiling. Airow waved as Ryzen turned to leave. Carbuncle and Ryzen seam to like each other a lot... Airow thought, being sure to keep his mind blocked of from any listening dragons.

Ryker laughed as the couple seemed to have another little battle. He bowed back slightly to Airow and Saridea, "It is nice to see you both in good health." He then looked down to his soggy attire and smiled at them. " I'm sorry, but as you can see I'm not in the best of looks to discuss things of late. If you wish you may accompany us to my quarters, otherwise you may go down and meet us at the Great Hall with Tanis and Carbuncle." At this he turned and took the lead into the castle back from Ryzen who had began to walk off even though he most likely knew nothing of where he was going.
Tanis looked back to the Saridea as she came into view giving her a bow, It is nice to see you Saridea, how have you faired while I was away? Tanis smiled to the boy and dismissed him with a nod of her head. Watching Saridea take off Tanis grinned, spreading her wings her body went low to the floor. In what seemed a large feat of strength for one a small as her she launched her body off the ground in a single bound and flap of her wings. As she went spiraling upwards her wings came in close to her body, tail straight. Once she was over the wall her wings burst out from their spot and stopped her spin instantly, with a quick movement of her head she glided over to the spot that Saridea had rested and choose one not too far away. Peeking over the edge she spoke to Carbuncle, Are you going to come up as well?

She rose up on her hind legs, and looked over her shoulder. She eyed the ledge with interest, then turned around fully. Aren't I a bit...um...big, for that ledge? I...I'll try... She flared her wings to their full 15 foot span and tensed her muscles. She stretched her front out and eyed the ledge unsurely. She sighed, folded her wings, and leaped up. She made the ledge easily, but scrabled a bit with her forclaws to steady herself as her weight broke a few stones off the edge. To top it all she bumped her head on the ceiling. She ducked her head with embarassment. She looked down thoughtfully, extending her claws a bit out of habit. An idea hit her and she looked over to the smaller draons. She smiled broadly and fluttered her wings a bit. Hey, lets go for a fly. I don't know the area around here, so maybe you guys could show me around? She seemed excited about having a fly with them. But in a moment the smile faltered and her nostrils flared as a much loathed scent hit her nose. She looked outwards across the landscape and hissed slightly, her pupils narrowing to serpentine slits in her emerald eyes. "They are coming..."
Ryzen walked along behind Ryker, marvelling at the sights around him. The castle was vast, easily bigger than anything from his home. And the dragons...They were everywhere. All shapes and colors and sizes. From Western Dragons like his Carbuncle, to Wyverns like Tanis. From blues and reds to golds and silvers, of every shade. They passed a smith's shop and his heart skipped a beat. He loved blacksmith shops. The scent of the forges, hte heat of the flame, the rythmic sounds of hammer striking metal, the shaping of raw iron into the tools of men. He thought back and could remember his own smith apprenticeship. He had designed his weapon, Demon's Soul in that apprenticeship. His teacher had loved the idea of 2 weapons in one, both a handaxe and a spear. He wondered how his old teacher was doing. RYZEN!! He doubled over in pain, clutching his head with clawed hands. It felt like his head was about to explode. "C...Car...Carbuncle...Turn it down a bit...ahh..." Ryzen, they're coming. They're coming Ryzen, they've found us. "What? Here!? Damnit! Can you do anything?" I...I...I could try to get Tanis and Saridea to do something... 'Shit! I should have known she'd be scared to death of Grimwing...' "I'm on my way." He drew Demon's Soul and flicked his wrist, fully extending it in a single fluid motion. He turned to Ryker. His eyes were...different. Carbuncle had used too much energy in her mental shout. The result; her emotions flowed into him, and he changed in mind and body. He flexed his free hand in the same way she would flex her claws, and his eyes were serpentine, with verticaly slit pupils and emerald irisis. "Ryker," he said in a dual toned voice, "Come with me."

Ryker turned around quickly when Ryzen gripped his head with pain. He looked on with concern for a while before Ryzen began to talk aloud, apparently to himself though Ryker knew it was to Carbuncle. When Ryzen looked back to Ryker though he did a double take, his eyes had changed, something that usually only happened during a bond. With a serious nod of his head Ryker agreed to follow, "Hold one moment though." He turned his head and whistled shrilly to the blacksmith, it almost sounded unhuman. The man along with most others turned there head up, "Is it ready?" At Ryker's inquirey the man smilied, "Yes Cap'n, got it done yesterday." Pulling out two bundles of cloth Ryker ran over, unwrapping them revealed a giant steel claymore, not as big as Ryzen's sword but it still held it's glory. The blade shinned, it had barely been polished and you could see your reflection in the blade. In the other bundle was an unusually long and slightly thick long bow was in the other, it was made of oak with a felxible silver pole inside. A twang sounded as he tested the bow, smiling at the results he threw the quiver over his shoulder along with the bow, taking the claymore in hand. "I'm ready, lead the way."
Tanis looked back at Carbuncles idea with a grin on her face. She hadn't been on a fly around the castle for along time, just coming back from a long and tiring business trip that had taken its toll on both her and Ryker. That sounds like a delightful idea... Though the thought wouldn't stay long in their minds as the hiss escaped Carbuncles throat, "What is going on? Whom do you speak of?" It was a rare occassion for Tanis to speak, though she corrected her self quickly, Best to keep this with in our minds so as to not frighten the passing ones below.

Saridae looked at Carbuncle in suprise, What's going on? Saridae asked through her mind. I think you'd better go with them. Saridea said to Airow in her mind speak. She then jumped off the ledge and flew down to Airow.
Airow saw Saridae fly down and held out his arm for her to land. Taking her advice he said, "I will accompany you." Airow drew his long sword and looked Ryker and Ryzen. "I too am ready."

Hidiously gleeful laughter acompanied screams of torment as a small hut, and its occupants, were emolated by Grimfang's flames. "Don't ya just love it when they scream," Faelen asks her partner-in-terror. "The louder the better," the black dragon responds as he uses his wiongs to fan the flames, spreading them onto a nearby house, "But don't forget why we really came here. Burning is fun, but I want her back." "Oh, yeah. I almost forgot. Well, lets go. That castle looks likely, lets bash in the gates..."
*****
Carbuncle growld deeply, readying herself for combat, her wings flaring. Then, another scent hit her. One she feared. Her face paled as she stepped away from the edge. "No...Not him...please no...Tanis, please...Help me, don't let him get me again..." A few tears dribbled down her face as she put her head under her wings and curled her tail around herself, wimpering and sobbing quietly.
Ryzen paced in fury, waiting for the destruction that was just moments away, his eyes still a blazing green as he kept them on the gates. After a few tense sconds he spoke. "They'll be quick and they'll attack without mercy. They'll kill, slaughter, and rape everyone they can. If you care about these people, you'll evacuate them. Now." He turned to his would-be-companions with a sad, serious look on his face. "And do me a favor. They'll go after Carbuncle especially. Make sure she gets out, make sure HE doesn't get hold of her..." Something heavy hit the gates, knocking a few nails out. "Too late. Those gates won't hold long, not against him..."

Hearing the screams a flare could be seen in Rykers eyes as he barked out orders, the true leader in him coming out. "Those flames better be out, now! All women and children are to go to the caverns immediately, Tanis lead them out now!." All of the villagers were already within the gates, only those very few who had decided not to go to the feast had fallen to the flames that were slowly consuming the village that Ryker had proteced his entire life. He definately wasn't about to stand back now.
Tanis listening to him got a chill down her spin as she heard his powerful voice boom through the castle. Nodding with a serious look she spread her wings, "Do not fear, Ryker will kill them for the damage they have already done. This village is his life, the very thing he lives for. He won't let this thing get you, now come. We must go the caverns." With a powerful beat of her wings she darted through the air at incredible speeds, only slowing down to make sure that Carbuncle was following. Soon they were at the front of the crowd, flying infront of them Tanis spoke, letting her own voice flow over them with a feeling of security. "We are going into the caverns. To be safe we will go as far back as possible toward the fields. Follow me and you will be safe, now let's go! Keep your pace fast and your wits about you!" Turning around she began to fly forward in a moderate speed so that they could keep up as she lead them through the castle to the far, far back to a sealed door. Lighting the seal the blue flame spread across the pattern and soon opened the doors, letting the people poor through as Tanis flew before them with that incredible speed of hers. Spewing out blue flames as she went along the caverns walls for a ways before she made her way back the tourches lining the walls sprung into life. Coming back to the doors she hovered over them, waiting for all to be evacuated inside so she could close the doors and reseal the door. Only a dragon of royal Darkwulf blood could open it.
Seeing Tanis quickly follow orders without question he turned back to those men who were left, "All of you prepare to fight for this damned place. If not prepare for your loved ones to die in agony at a dragons flame or anothers sword. Today we must stand and fight so there may be a tomorrow!" A powerful rage filled with malice and desire spilled from his voice like a thick fog, causing the men to yell in pride as they readied to take on the menace behind the gates as the main castle doors closed behind them archers running to the top of the castle. Ryker stood in the front of the small army and held his blade out infront of him with one hand at a downwards slant as he walked forward toward the busting gate, a determined look on his face as he reached the gate. Turning his head back there was no sign of that friendly demeanor from earlier, just that of a battle heavy warrior. "You coming?"
Tilting his head up the men who were positioned at the gate heaved at the ropes that held a giant splitting beam in place that had kept the gates closed. With an almost inhuman strength Ryker lifted his entire body back and raised his leg as he slammed it into the door, sending it flying outwards in full fling smacking whoever was behind it hard.
The truth was that he had timed it to right after they had pushed forward on the gate, when it would go back he just gave it an extra push and let it's own momentum carry it forward. He was powerful too, just he thought things through before he acted even in the midst of battle. Raising his sword and gripping it with the other hand as well he readied for the enemy that had burnt his precious village.

As he watched Ryker smash the doors he was slapped by a wave of logic. "Ryker, no! He'll eat you alive!!"
*****
Grimfang slamed the doors again, and they exploded OUTWARDS in a storm of woord and tiny bits of metal. A blast of toxic green flames fizzled the wood before it could reach the two, but the watched in pompous amusement as a lone human stood in the gateway, a mirror-like claymore in his hands. Grimfang and Faelen looked at each other and laughed gleefully. "What, is the weakling-bastard afraid to fight his own battles, now?" "Oh well. At least we get to kill some more people and whet our appettites, right, Grimy?" "Don't call me that." They looked back at Ryker and Grimfang's nostril's flared. He hissed angrily. "She isn't here. Human, where is the female that was hiding here? That bitch is my property, and I demand that she be returned!" Faelen put a hand on his forlimb, the only part of the masive dragon that she could reach, as she pulled a wicked-looking barbed whip from her side, on of the black leather straps making up her outfit slipping a bit and revealing a pink tit beneath (not getting too adult I hope -.-'). "Easy, Grim. We'll find her. At least HE's still here, so you go look for the other one, then pick me up later. I'm gonna play a bit." The black snorted derisively, Then flared his wings and leaped into the air, soring in the direction of the caverns and dodgeing a few arrows. Faelen, seemingly just noticing her revealed nippled, adjusted her inadequate outfit and walked slowly in Ryker's direction, twirling her whip like a child's toy, a smile on her face. "Your cute. Wanna play with me till Ryzen comes out. Oh, well speak of the devil..."
As Ryzen came up behind Ryker he shortened his weapon's shaft back down, drawing his scimitar as well. "Don't give in to her teasing. Loose your cool and she'll kill you as slow as possible." He stepped in front of the warrior, assumning a combat position with a Night Behind stance, both his weapons over the same shoulder. "Besides, this bitch is mine. Get your men to the evac point, slow Grimfang down as much as you can. He's after Carbuncle. Use that to your advantage. But if she gets hurt, I swear I'll kill you my self. Now, go."
*****
Carbucnle had followed the caravans to what MIGHT be a safe place, but now Ryzen's safety began nagging her. A few of the children were bauling loudly, so, to give herself something to do to help, she began to sing a lullabye. Her soft, delicate voice echoed off the walls, carying a hint of eldritch power that would calm the children. It worked, and they settled down, a few of the youngest even laying their heads on her body and nodding off. She covered them with one wing, which made a fine blanket against the cold and damp. But she was still worried. "Tanis, will we be alright in here? What about the others? You should know, that doorway may not hold against Grimfang, he's four times my size. Even if it did, he could just burrow in. These people need another escape route." Her tail twitched rapidly as she spoke and tried to keep herself from fidgiting.

Tanis looked back and quickly closed the gates behind them. Hearing her warning she decided it might be better to use one of her best seals. "It will hold, and this cavern wasn't chosen as a safe haven for nothing. It has extremely thick walls that would take any dragon, no matter how able days to claw their way through. Mainly due to an ancient spell that was placed on it by the first dragon to land here for his own hoard and mate." Steadying herself infront of the giant doors she spoke to Carbuncle in a serious tone. "Though if he's as bad as he sounds I'm afraid I must use one of my more dangerous seals. Please go ahead of these people and light the torches, lead the way deep into the cavern. It goes for many miles before leading into a large underground tunnel system that will lead into a giant underground city if you take the right tunnels which are in abunace to choose from. I will catch up to you soon enough. Now go! Don't look back..."
Waiting for her to dissapear infront of them she watched as the crowd was lead on into the cavern. Once they were almost out of sight she turned to the door with a ferious look in her eyes, the once easily lost in sky blue turned a into a dark raging ocean. The dark green scales and pale green claws shifted as her body grew to a much greater size than her own, now a night black body with firey red tips. It was not her anymore for that time, an ancient language spilled from the creatures scaled mouth with a heavy draken accent. The eyes flared and a great power was pushed to the door as it flared red. Suddenly the giant dragons image appeared on the door on the outside and roared loudly. Settling down the image became ingraved in the doorway that was now turning a deep pale blue. It was a rare metal that could withstand any flame, claws not mattering. On the otherside of the door the giant dragons form began to decrease rapidly as the eyes dimmed down back to the sky blue and the scales came back to their green color. A drowzy, worn out look on her face as she came back to herself, "The seal is......complete." With that she passed out, knowing that the beast would not be able to reach her people without extreme difficulty. A grin spread on her face as she thought to herself something that comforted her, Ryker will save us...
Far in the front of the castle Ryker stood, immensly pissed off as the he watched them burst the door back. His mind was filled with rage as he watched the dragon take off, roaring after it with that powerful thunderous voice of his, "You will NOT take anyone under my protection." Seeing that the dragon was soon busting through the gates of the castle Ryker dropped his head, letting his hair fall around his face as he stood there. Hearing the woman make her comment he grinned, it grew larger as he began to laugh. Soon enough the laughter was filling the air as he slung his head back with it.
The soldiers knew what was going to happen soon enough and began to back away. Their captain had certain issues when it came to protecting his place. Though when he tilted his head back to glance at them they all jumped from the contorted look on his face. "No, you must all stay and fight." Slowly bringing his head with the rest of his upper torso back to their prior place and leaning forward he looked at the woman with a crazed look in his eyes. "Play? You wish to play? Sounds intriguing." Watching as Ryzen stepped infront of him and made the rather grave comment Ryker giggled, a twisted smile on his face as one of his hands gripped Ryzen's shoulder like a steel vice, applying pressure as he talked. "My friend, I believe it is you who have brought these people in the first place. They have already killed some of my people. If that dragon of yours dies I take no charge, this is your problem. But seeing as he'd have to go through Tanis it is now partly my problem. I leave you my men, if one of them drops so will one of your many appendages." Tilting his head to the side in a rather strange and demented way he smiled and released the menacing grip. Grinning at the woman he spoke in a rather rough tone, "You will get yours soon enough wh*re."
Pivoting around on his feet he signaled for two of his men to follow behind him, one of those being Airow as he darted off into the darkness of the castle with an almost inhuman speed. With a malicious and wild look in his eyes he kept the sword down and out behind him in one hand, leaning forward as he sprinted toward the entrance of the caverns hoping that Tanis had closed them in time.

Ryzen Signaled to the remaining men to hold their ground. "Stay back, all of you. I will have no one die on my account." "Oh, whats wrong, Ryzen," Faelen said with a somewhat disappointed voice, "Why are you trying to take away my playthings?" "Its all a game to you, isnt it, Fallen One?" She smiled broadly. "Yep. And lives are just toys to be played with until their broken, then thrown away." "You came here for me. Me and Carbuncle. Why hurt the others." It was a rhetorical question; he knew the answer before he asked. "Because, I like playing with them. Its not my fault they break so easy. And besides, this time your going home to father. He'll be so thrilled to have all his children back." Ryzen flinched. There waas no way he wopuld ever go back to that place. "I'm never going back, Fae. Not ever. I told you once, I choose my own destiny. And I chose to have nothing to do with Le Enfantes de la Abîme (The Children of the Abyss)." "Nothing to do with family? Oh, now youve made me sad," so saying she lashed her whip in his direction, entangling it with his scimitar, "And you know how I hate to be sad." Ryzen held his other weapon, Duivel Ziel (Demon Soul), high over his head, the axe blade gleaming in the sun, before bringing it down on the taught whip, slicing the tendril cleanly in half and causing to whiplash towards its owner in a spray of blood. "I see he gave you something new to play with. Alright then, dear sister, let me cheer you up..." He rushed at her with both weapons at the ready, the soldiers far behind him with confused looks on their faces. "Oh, goody, playtime! Well then, have at thee, brother..."
Unfortunately for Tanis, the spell which had sealed the door also stood out like a becon, showing Grimfang exactly where to start digging. He landed and took a deep breath, tasting the scents in the air. Fear. Their must have been a tunnel system below the g5orund, and it was rank with it. A bitter-sweet smell, like over rippened fruit. He began to walk towards the front gate, but the magical tingle in the air made him decide otherwise. He wouldn't deign to mindspeak with Fealen, she could take care of herself. He wasnt about to try and dig into a ward, so he circled around some ways to a place where the ground was thin. A few minutes of digging and he would be through. And then? Then she would be his again, along with any snacks she has with her. Her began to dig, licking his lips in eagerness as his claws tore into the earth, leaving long furrows that smoked with his corrupt nature. "Soon. Very soon..."
Carbuncle bowed to Tanis's wishes and gingerlyy picked up a few of the sleeping children, using her wings to form a kind of cradle as she placed them on her back. She went ahead and began lighting torches, frightened villagers following. One young man, whose scent, more than physical appearance, betrayed hims as a half-breed, put his hand on her upper left forleg. A half-dragon, no less. Did any of his family know that his father, or mother, had had a tryst with a dragon or dragon-kin? Probably not. It was difficult for her to remain near him for long, but her curiosity overwrote any instictive behavior. To make matters worse, he was surrounded by a feild of sexual tension. Great. The last thing I need is horny youth nearby...
| So you caught me "snuggling" with Carbuncle last night in a less than flattering position. If your thinking about lecturing me about inter-species affairs...BACK THE F*** OFF!! I've heard enough of that already. |

"Well boys, it seems that the feast will be off for another time..." Running hell-nell down the hallway Ryker forced his left shoulder forward and slid his left leg out, his entire body coming low to the floor in order to make the turn to his right. Looking down the hallway he had just ran through he saw his men were far behind, of course he couldn't blame them for being human so he yelled back to them to hurry up as he turned his attention back to the hallway he had turned to, the one that led to the cavern.
Ahead he saw the massive dragon that had escaped him earlier, the one he was now hunting down. Propping his blade on his right shoulder Ryker began to walk down the hallway. Seeing the dragon backing off the doorway Ryker began to rush forward down the hallway. Before he was able reach the dragon it took off and began to circle above the caverns outside. Just about growling himself Ryker was faced with the choice of running around the entire castle or climbing through a window on the next floor and jumping down about thirty feet. Knowing he wouldn't have time for the first he ran back halfway down the hall and proceeded to run up a staircase. Reaching the top he ran over to a window leading to the wide open plain behind the castle that the caverns were built under. Looking out he saw the dragon start to dig. F*ck! Setting his sword down on the stone floor beneath him he reached back and pulled the long bow off his back. Reaching for arrows he didn't take the ones that were waiting to be pulled out, but felt for three that had been wrapped in rough brown paper. Smiling as he found them Ryker pulled one out of it's wrapper to reveal a very strange arrow, the head was barrbed with two jingle bells at the base. The shaft was made out of a pale blue flexible substance that had been carved in a strange manner, like that of a whistles. The end feathers were large and a bright red, though flatened down enough so it had the almost perfect wind resistance. Lining up his bow he aimed for the dragon, right inbetween the wings where it couldn't be pulled out. Not a deadly shot at all, but one he wanted to take for reasons only he knew. Letting the arrow fly it soared perfectly through the air, flying a distance upwards before it dove down like peregrine falcon screaching toward it's target. Hearing it let out it's call Ryker almost burst out in joy seeing his creation work, of course he knew he had more work to do. Quickly taking aim and shooting off three more arrows in succession at the dragons feet which were digging at the hole, these arrows silent as they flew. Putting his bow back he set to the task of getting down there himself.
Not wanting to break a leg or his sword he quickly ripped off part of his shirt and made a makeshift holster for his sword that he tied to his back, making sure it wouldn't damage the bow. Stepping onto the windows ledge he grabbed hold with his left hand and pushed his left foot into the corner. Swinging out he grabbed hold of the stone wall with his right hand. Once a footing was found for his right he quickly began to scale down the wall much like a lizard.
About ten, twelve feet from the ground he jumped and landed with a slight thud. Standing up straight he took his sword from his back and discarded the makeshift holder, leaving a small pile of fabric on the floor along with his bow since he decided it would just be a hastle in the battle to come. Finding his target in a matter of seconds again he began to charge with his sword out at his side. No battle cry or sound of clunky armor, just the sound of feet rapidly pushing off the earth coming closer with each second.
