A lean elf with red-blonde hair was walking up a trail in the mountains for which she was named. A dragon, by the name of Arrik, was close behind her. Aresai was not here for any reason of importance, only for the sole purpose of relaxation. Taking time to get away from her duties in her homeland was a luxury for her, but Arrik needed it, his heart would break without trips to the mountains. He was hatched in the mountains and lived in them until Aresai found him, hurt and in need of treatment. As she treated him, the dragon pact was formed, and so they became friends for life. Here, the two came across a mountain meadow, full of flowers and wild berries. Arrik lay on a large boulder, while Aresai sat in the cool grass eating black berries from a nearby bush. Sometimes I wish I could live in these mountains, without my responsibilities to the Drakengaurd. Aresai wondered if her dragon had heard her thoughts. If he did he gave no sign of it.

Walking through the mountain range had not proved an easy task as he had thought earlier. Though it was still beautiful, full of strange little forests and meadows that you would stumble on constantly. It was rather pleasant to be secluded from the hectic castles once in a while to get a breather. Tanis of course agreed, this had been a well deserved vacation for her after having to fly to every place imaginable on this forsaken continent. Jumping to stand ontop of a rock he spotted a small river that looked like it might lead to a pool.
Jumping back down and walking over the two began to follow it up hill instead of down, incase someone decided to do something to the water. Walking upwards he spotted a clearing ahead which he thought might be the pool so he urged on forward.
